Big Update — My Wild Life Homesteading is rebranding as White Pines Homestead When we started this channel, we were living in a city and sharing our outdoor adventures. My Wild Life reflected that season of life perfectly. Over time, things changed. We were blessed to procure land, build a new life, and begin growing what is now our homestead. We named our property White Pines Homestead for two important reasons:

1️⃣ My wife’s favorite tree has always been the tall, majestic, White Pine.

2️⃣ As if that wasn’t perfect enough — our property has two mature White Pine trees standing right beside our house, with more scattered throughout the property and landscape.

The name just fit. Over the last couple of years, the homestead has grown rapidly and we've begun thinking long term. This YouTube channel is a big part of that journey. To grow as a brand, develop merchandise, and keep a clear vision for both our viewers and our local community, making the transition now makes sense — rather than waiting until the channel grows even larger. The content isn’t changing. The mission isn’t changing. We’re just stepping into the identity we’ve been building. We've updated our handle from @mywildlifeca to @WhitePinesHomestead and, over the next couple weeks, you will see the channel name transition from "My Wild Life Homesteading" to (currently) "My Wild Life (White Pines Homestead)", to simply "White Pines Homestead".
